Any emotional piece can be tight, as long as we live there will be an array of emotions shown they're part of life. But you as a writer is capable of writing out your emotions and possibly helping someone else. Again it's tight

Maybe. And I do need to slow down I suppose since I tend to have a lead foot especially when thinking.

You’ve painted amazing pictures with your piece. I could see the mountains, feel the bends and curves of the road, the sting from the tips of my hair slapping my face from blowing around in the wind. That split second when the odometer breaks 100 mph and the thought “what if...” comes into play.  
Chilling and accurate and oh so relatable.  “GPS tells me in an unfriendly and    
accusatory tone "You are lost" ” this phrase made me smile- I heard it as being scolded by god through modern technology. Wonderful write. H🌷  
PS, just do me a solid and please be careful. You are a treasure and very valued. ❤️

I’d like to confess my shock and awe at seeing your author’s note was so overwhelmingly gracious I was rendered speechless.  Between not feeling at all worthy of the compliment and trying to figure a bombastic way to thank you for it, I’ve fallen very short of the mark on all accounts. Clever and emotive... That last line hit hard. I'm sorry that you're feeling so conflicted. Perhaps once you drive out of the rain clouds, you'll be 'redirected' to your proper destination.

Although I started out wanting to write something inspirational I very much failed. Anyway, thank you again for the beautiful comment. Kristina, I love the metaphor of being physically lost on the road and psychologically lost due to other's behaviors beyond pour control. Driving can be soothing if you're in the right place physically, sounds like you've got some pretty mountain roads, and mentally...there are times when my mind is just to preoccupied or distraught to be a responsible anything let alone a driver❣❣ I'll read thew piece you recommend.

Yes, sometimes I would not drive and other times it is calming, just depends. Of course mountain roads are different than city roads. Thanks for the comment. :)
