Symbol For Love or Lust?

The playwrite said we invent symbols in which to invest passion and authority, and then forget that our symbols are inventions.

So it is with this symbol you brought forth this night in me.
Might this liquid passion, creamy white with pureness,
Be simply biological determinism furthering our species?

Or, could it be a symbol for much more?
It might speak to the depth of my love for you,
That the mere sight of you could begin a chain of events
Culminating in the pulsing flow that fills your moist crevice,
Each drop teaming with thousands of sperm
Dancing frantically in search of your egg.

These same involuntary streams from inside of me
Can be symbols of love, lust, or humiliation

The symbols of our own creation are complicated!
They depend on context.
What has gone before, trust or deceit?
What is desired in the other, to give or to take?

And so it is this night as our bodies press in,
Each seeking to fill empty in some form,
Each succumbing to lusts, or love,
Or natural desires as old as creation.

That moment when the ancient offering comes
Symbolizes something between us
Flowing with power and filling your dark receiving place.
My ecstatic flesh can only say, thank you for accepting.

Tonight it’s a symbol for “passion and authority”
I am the luster and the rightful fulfiller of your desires,
Taking what I must have, but also attempting to give.
Perhaps this flow might later become a symbol for deeper love.
Let us explore the possible meanings often!
