African-American - pertaining to or characteristic of Americans of African ancestry; "Afro-American culture"; "many black people preferred to be called African-American or Afro-American"
Synonyms: Afro-American

The Black Law Dictionary is what it pertains to, the dynamics of a dictionary of law ethics, I studied from its orthodox principles in obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and Criminal Justice as an understudy, and under no circumstances or in its equivalency it is utilized to characterize the reference or offensive taboo of one’s skin color, period, and in the absence of your claim, my skin tone is an unaltered hue of mahogany, with the laws of melanin to gravitate a blossoming change in its intensity when blended  (The Black Moors known as Muslim by history’s account, conquered Sicily June 827 attenuating their bloodline).

I really do admire those peaceful monetary protests regarding practicing our civil rights and the feat is to withhold our economic contributions. If you would allow me to clear up some misconceptions in regard to the power of the people and may it incorporate various opinions that do not stand on the principles or merit to want or deem necessary to allow social change to manifest.

History can never repeat itself, however, in the essence of legislative laws voted on by Congress and then passed to put into effect; it tells America have come a long way, yet as a citizen of any country can still uphold the principles of our First Amendment to congregate the voices of free speech, however, the more things seem to change, henceforth, the more they remain the same.

The African men always had a plan, within his own country, practicing his own culture, until he was sold into slavery to give of free labor to make America what it is today.

We had a flourishing Black Wall Street, the name fittingly given to one of the most affluent all-Black communities in America, was bombed from the air and burned to the ground by mobs of envious Whites. The area was home to several lawyers, realtors, doctors, and prominent black Businessmen, many of them multimillionaires.

Rosewood (The Rosewood massacre was a racially motivated massacre of black people and destruction of a black town that took place during the first week of January 1923 in rural Levy County, Florida. At least six black people and two white people were killed, though eyewitness accounts suggested a higher death toll of 27 to 150. The town of Rosewood was destroyed, in what contemporary news reports characterized as a race riot. Racially motivated violence against people of color was common during the early 20th century in the United States. Florida had an especially high number of lynchings of black men in the years before the massacre, including a well-publicized incident in December 1922.

A person or people who laminate his life by the creed of which he speaks, a legacy is never buried, lost, or stolen. It becomes a reflection of his future generation to continue it, and the Kings from Martin Luther King III, to Bernice King, their tireless efforts have brought some reform to a dysfunctional society. BLM is a catalyst designed out the pain of seeing injustice to the African American communities, it is a foundation to take positive variations to systematic racism African Americans must suffer under the duress of police brutality. There are plenty of supporters, from politicians, the sports industry to the movie moguls who have studied the cause and have made large sums of monetary contributions to continue the drive.

Black Life Matters, in this dialogue from which I replied earnestly to your comment, it's what this country needs to assist in building trust within the communities and aid in better fostered laws so we can all be treated fairly and receive our due process. In addition, there will never be a price so low in value to demand the reward of justice, and no more hanging, we have endured, whereas, we can stand tall and give our voices to the freedom of peace we were depraved, yet we stand in unity here today to see it prevail.

Just A FYI In the defense of the word, black

For the ancient Egyptians, black had positive associations; being the color of fertility and the rich black soil flooded by the Nile. It was the color of Anubis, the god of the underworld, who took the form of a black jackal, and offered protection against evil to the dead.
