Two Crows...

When I bleed do you appreciate.
When I need you most you're gone.
If there's love in what I'm forced to endure.
I question whether or not it's all worth while.

Two crows in the rain.
Stand together in the cold.
Oh what schemes could be behind those beady little eyes.
I get lost in the void and am left without choice.
Oh what schemes could be behind those beady little eyes.

You force my voice, skilled ventriloquist.
The strings are pulled on my wrists.
Your narrative is accepted as what's truth.
No matter what the heart of a puppet will say.

Tell me if my smile is real to you.
Truly the tears I've cried were that of joy.
If it isn't real.
I've wasted so much of my life...
