To understand each other
When there is no need for words

Silence conveyed more
When words were lacking at times
Facial expressions
Were enough to know your moods
Just by looking at your face

Your eyes are mirrors
Reflecting your emotions
You can't hide feelings
From me and my knowing eyes
All it takes is a brief glance

Sometimes you go out
When you hear me rave and rant
On domestic things
Which has prevented many
Collisions and arguments

Leaving me alone
To cool and collect myself
Then I wait for you
To come back and we patch up
Like nothing ever happened

Learning the language
Of love takes time to master
But it is the key
To lasting relationship
And enduring love affair
