Our greatest lessons are ascertained via losses
Only the strong survive to thrive on like bosses
The cost is steep as we weep over the slain
Searching our brains for answers to ease the pain
Trying to refrain from going down a destructive path
Suffering and hurting from living as an empath
Doing the math on the beaten path of the situation
Knowing the sum of the outcome from prior equations

Quite possibly but history speaks for itself. We come to expect certain outcomes based off of previous sums that habitually happened. An unforeseen variable would be an anomaly.
