The World Is In Pain
The world is in pain
I can feel her suffering
I can see her wounds
Her heart is a rivulet
Dripping hues of vermillion
She's in agony
A pathetic sight begging
To be healed and cured
In desperate need of love
Kindness and understanding
I ache for the world
I can feel her misery
As humanity
Is engulf by apathy
With hate brewing in its heart
People need to wake
To be shaken from their sleep
The world needs healing
It's time to come together
As one brotherhood of man

Rain, this poem captures what's going on in the world today. Sadly, people lack tolerance and compassion. There is so much hatred and violence springing up. Your poem is right on point.
