BETWEEN LOVE AND SEX
BETWEEN LOVE AND SEX
When love was pure in that old past,
their poets wrote such lovely verse.
But now that love is dirty sex;
they've changed their shame into silence.
Where are those plays that charmed their youths
and made them love in such a way?
They have been changed into mean porn,
which upsets stomach night and day.
Look at old Europe how it rose
and gave the world its great progress.
Where is that Europe of pure love?
Through sex and shame it's in a mess.

Your claim that pornography and that an interest in, and writing about, salacious sex is a recent phenomenon, and that poets of the golden age, let alone in earlier times, did not produce or enjoy producing, bawdy verse, shows that once again that you do not know what you are talking about.

So does your claim that Europe of the past was "pure love" and that modern poets do not write quality love poetry.
Then there's the fact that syntactically, the antecedent of your " they've changed their shame into silence" is the poets of "that (deixis) old past" and that there's no reason to believe that these poets had "shame" or did what you say they have done.
There's also the solecism in this line:
"Through sex and shame is in a mess."
It needs to have been written "Through sex and shame IT is in a mess." for it to make sense, let alone to convey what you apparently wanted to say, even though the truth of what you wanted to say is true. Any mess (or messes) that Euope is presently in is hardly due to sex. It's economics and nationalism.
In any case, what would an aspiring poet who is interested in writing well learn from this piece about the way to do so? What's here with respect to style, form, meter, and use of (repetitious and imageless) language that would-be poets should emulate?
Have you read my piece in which I emulate Thomas Wyatt's "And Wilt Thou Leave Me Thus?"? I wonder if you will show that you are capable of emulating the form and style of and sentiment of any piece of his or of any love poem by poets of the 16th century?

2-Please don't write much when your ideas don't need such lengthy account. That's to save your time and mine.
3-The family in Europe now is not as it was in the past, and l think the sex revolution has played an important role in this concern.
4-l write the poetry and ideas that l feel, and l don't need anybody to tell me what l write.
