Maybe I'm blind
in many ways
maybe I'm ignorant
in the things
that i say

But At Least I Try

Learning
is the reason
why i still breath
no direction
just being me
within my mind

Some people say
I'm not all there
some people say
that I'm
paranoid
when i question
what is said on the box
Everyday

That slides
into my head
it pains me to say

When the words
are feeling gray
when the rhythm
is out of tune
when their smile
hides a lizard brain

I have to say
it's in
sane

But what can i do
in a world of pain
But a least i try
not to swallow
all the lies

Some people
gotta real problem
tone deaf
No rhythm in their life's

Blaming others
for being blind

But At Least
some of us
Try

To walk the line
asking why
we have to live
