HOLLOW

I gazed upon the crashing waves
The seas roar of defiance
Pitted my soul
And tore away my broken heart

An icy chilled wet wind
Rummaged through my desperate bones
If she loved me
Why did she end it

Comprehension was beyond my knowledge
Of human nature
So much for my sensitivities
 realised i knew nothing

Alone in my despair
A solemn silence filled my heart
An aching pain
I sat alone in a void

The dream is now my nightmare
Breathless and broken
As the aching hollow pain
Squeezes my soul

My heart no longer
Beats with any hope
I remain alone
As my heart has been cast asunder
