I wish with all my heart, that we werent so far apart.
I hope with all my strength, that she'd be as close as arms length.
I pray with all my might that she would come and kiss me goodnight.
I want so badly to look over at the chair and see my grandma sitting there.

Dear M,
There really is nothing like a hug and kiss from a grandmother. Especially one who thought you could do no wrong. Always ready with a pocket full of candy and some cash to slip you under the table. This is such a touching ode and honor to her. You have a very truthful and sweet voice to your poetry and this one is no exception. H🌷
