Oberon visits Londinium

One fine day, Oberon, king of the fairies, decides to take time out of Fairyland, and decides to visit London,
there he intends to drink some fine wines, indulge in some earth food, and read a paper at an exclusive Gentlemans club.
He announces himself at the door of one such place, wearing his kingly robes. the doorman refuses him admittance, and requests that he leave, or the local constabulary would be summoned. the king is deeply offended at this treatment, and then insists he should be admitted, as he is King of The Fairies, and produces a handful of gold coins, and informs the doorman that this is proof that he is King as they have his image on them. the doorman takes one, and examines it closely, and reading the wording on the coin, sees 'Made in Fairyland' engraved upon it.
the doorman then states that if the King of the Fairies doesn't leave immediately, that he will have no choice, he shall have to have him arrested
Oberon, puzzled at the doormans reaction, enquires why? the doorman explains that the gold coin doesn't have any currency value in the uk, nor any date, to show when it was minted. the king explains, that of course it doesn't have a date, as time and dates have no relevance or purpose in Fairyland: time is forever, so why try to measure it?
the doorman responds "Whatever!"
Oberon now is more determined to enter this club, as he has never ever been refused entry anywhere, and he knows that he could simply put a spell on the doorman, but that would be to easy. and in frustration decides to simply leave, as the doorman is unmoving. but tells the doorman to keep the gold coin. the doorman thanks the king, but still refuses admission, but will give the coin to his daughter. as Oberon turns to leave. a gentleman arrives, and the doorman, opens the door and lets him in without a word. "How is this?" said the king. "well sir, this gentleman has an OBE at the end of his name". "Well" said the king, "i'm a king, and i have an OBE at the beginning of my name!" at that Oberon has had enough, and then decides to simply return to Fairyland.
a few weeks later, the doorman, still a bit puzzled at this strange visitor to the club, takes the coin to an expert for analysis. the doorman is later informed that the gold coin is of the highest purity ever known......
