The Pounding in Found

It’s a night of June, I found you in Pound
it wasn’t Benfica, but it’s a night for the lovely chicas’
their worlds collide over the green grass on the ground
2018 World Cup between Mexico and South Korea

it’s the night of June, when I saw you dance
something about your physique, being in trance
yes the cup, it was eventually won by France,
except for a special match that was by chance

your pure strength was more than physical,
it was so powerful and definitely emotional
adrenaline spike, the energy uncontrollable
when you’re devotional, its nothing irrational

everything that started, wasn’t simply conversational
me the stranger, i’m comfortable with dysfunctional
new to the crowds, the environment was sensational
quietly observing this gal, it’s nothing really personal

Tequilas, Magaritas and a night of jugs full of Sangrias
the gods were watching and they want fun, mamma mias!
beers were on constant flow, the crazy coarse eyes glowed
don’t remember the circumstance, but it was a hell of a blow!

A Mexican beauty in White and an uncultured shite
a moment of blinking startdust under the neon light
crazy lizards and geckos, a Brit is gonna start a fight
Little Creatures at night, not seeing the wrong from right

bada bing .. bada boom… there a loud thundering doom!
that beautiful blooming chica, is breaking the British boom
a right jab and an uppercut, he crawled to his mama’s womb
oh my! what an introduction, she was dancing the ballroom

fly like a butterfly and she stung him like a bee
Oh sweet enchanting queen, dancing wild and free
heaven and earth, the peace that you surely see
a drunk motherfucker, how did he offend thee?

does it really matter? that night’s pounding in Found,
it for someone who had the god damn thing just coming!
rude and obnoxious, let me at him another fucking round!
my fist on his ears, let him wake up with the world humming!!
