Delicacy

fully present he meanders casually
through the chefs herb garden
appreciating the colors
and textures enjoying whiffs
of of garlic rosemary and sage

she salivates
at the thought of his
smooth flesh
soon to pass
through her plump red lips

soon he would be consumed
slowly savored
by her moist flexible
tongue
engulfed by her throat

he moves slowly
gliding smoothly
across surfaces
climbing mounds
descending valleys

guided by scents odors tastes
nibbling bits here
devouring parts there
leaving trails of slime
easily traced

inadequately protected
by fibonacci’s sequence
his beautiful spiral shell
transformed into vessel
for salty pungent escargot
