I'm sorry for my recent behavior,
Being betrayed and hurt caused me to turned to the razor.
I'm sorry that I ever saw death as my only escape,
Your words have no more meaning its like you broke my heart and expected me to fix it with scotch tape.

I too, love the last line. The visual of a heart with pieces of tape criss crossed, pealing up on the ends, gaps between the pieces. Representing the delicate condition of the heart.
