The weight of your loss only intensifies with time
I've searched so desperately to find peace with your passing,
When I feel a slight comfort in knowing you're in a better place it's never long lasting.
People say time heals,
But I feel as though god steals; my time.
The time I could've had with you all the advice you had to give; you were so wise,
There is a painful fire that burns me to the core and shows only in my eyes.
It seems as though no matter what I do and how hard I pray,
the pain from your loss only intensifies with each passing day.

This kinda reminds me of a few poignant funerals I’ve been to in my life. It’s really sad to think of those we wish we could have one last conversation with.
