THE EWE AND THE GOAT
Once, a sheep quite fat was forced to jump.
Its posterior fatty tail went up.
Near her was a goat that giggled long.
"Shame on You," she said to that poor ewe.
The reserved and timid sheep was sad
for a few unhappy days of shame
till the shepherd wanted to know why.
She surprised him when he heard her tale.
"Don't be shy," he said,"my decent sheep.
Look at her at any time you like.
You will know that you were seen for once,
but she makes a show of self and laughs."

Posterior = the part of the body you sit on – used humorously SYN buttocks, bottom
Your wording ("posterior tail") suggests this ewe also has a (thin?) tail near or on her head.
And how is saying "shame on you" a show of self (if not also a "show of laughs")?

How intelligent you are if you understand it like that! You are so far from poetry. I am sorry to read such poor comments.
Thank you for the compliment. But how else could I understand what you wrote? That the ewe has more than one tail is what your syntax inescapably indicates. Why modify "tail" with the adjective "posterior" if you weren't distinguishing one tail from another?

I was calling “Ewe!”
out to a lost in winter female member
of my flock,
and hardly sheepishly.
But since she thought
that I intended then
to make her flesh
into a mutton stew,
she kept herself away
from all the warmth
and safety of my fold,
despite my using passwords true.
She braved the shearing cold
ensuring for a while,
at least,
that I’d not get her goat,
that she would keep her coat
and on the earth grow old.

Please specify why it would NOT be poetry? I think it has far more right to be called poetry than your curious "all tell, no show" attempt to be Aesopian does. But I'm happy for you to demonstrate (not just assert) how and why my claim is wrong.
