Beluga

A beluga whale.
Hanging underwater, timeless.
Sculpture of living flesh.
David, Diana, Venus, brought to life.
Pale, unblemished, living marble.
Ghostly, silent.
Lithe and alive.
I watched transfixed,
I have never seen anything,
This beautiful.
