Men licensed to kill with impunity
Will habitually go on killing sprees
Feeling like they've got immunity
Evading justice as if it's a disease
Cries and pleas won't change this
So resist that type of mentality
Only with unity, symbolically a raised fist
Will visually make them see their mortality
Casualty for casualty is the reality of war
An eye for an eye decried the Old Testament
At some point we must even the score
Building your arsenal is a good investment

I think this would read better by emphasizing the contrast of what you already have to work with.
