Mother Mary all over You
I came on your belly
Just like you asked me
And looked down to see
The Virgin Mary
staring
at me
So I stared back
My eyes harbored no shame
There was no rhyme or reason
Why she’d appear in my semen
But sister was there all the same
You wanted a wet rag
But I told you to wait
I wanted to know what it means
Sometimes the messes
We make on each other
Ain’t something God wants us to clean
Just like you asked me
And looked down to see
The Virgin Mary
staring
at me
So I stared back
My eyes harbored no shame
There was no rhyme or reason
Why she’d appear in my semen
But sister was there all the same
You wanted a wet rag
But I told you to wait
I wanted to know what it means
Sometimes the messes
We make on each other
Ain’t something God wants us to clean
