The world is safe when I let go of control...
I felt how much I love you
(So smart, my heart)
I thought we could understand each other
(So kind, my mind)
Then I realized, I know nothing
Not me or you, the earth, the trees, the breeze
Not the sun in the sky
Not the answers why
I have only this remembrance
A resonance off in the distance
Some feeling of God and his angels who see
(inner beauty)
Seen as the soul-self
(never alone)
Because it's you- it’s me- it’s all.
Love is love
(Just because)
Anything you think can be
Doesn’t mean that you get to
Do whatcha want to
Doesn’t mean that
Thoughts have meaning
All the “no” ones and “some” ones,
A mixing pot of boiling onions
Next time you get a hit don’t blow it out as if it’s nothing
