A Second Chance
Love walked in
Crossing the street as the light turned from red to green
A heart beat faster and lighter
A tempo of 6/8 time, a waltz started to play... dance
Days and nights became one
Nights spun into days
The sun always shown bright here in the night
The warmth of loves glow
The warmth of loves smile
Love walked out
Crossing the street as the light turned from green to red
A heart slowed
A dance no longer played
A stillness here in the day... night
Looking
Longing
A life now lived searching for hope
A life now lived in a trance
Waiting for the sun to rise
This heart needs a second chance

Nice symmetry with this ... the two stanzas flowing in the opposite direction ...

Thank you for the comment. Music is a very big part of my life, hell it is everything for me so I decided to start writing poems based around songs which is my first and my biggest Muse. Love is always in two parts it seems.
