Moonlight Gaiety.....

As we venture 'neath
the lambent
of a cerulean colored welkin,

whisper me tender;
sweet midnight vespers

To thine eyes only
and sacred cosmos above,
unveil each arc of ivory
and raw sanguine
that aches;

outward arching
for the carress of Eros,
rapture singeing
ethereal hymns in flesh.

From twilight hours
of shimmering rim,
'til sun's first ray to crest;

'neath a full moon's glimmer
and glint,
tethered and 'twined,
blessed be this night;
our Elysium tryst.
