Waves within

"Waves within"
forming and crashing,
never still,
forever I'm sure I shall feel
 these sensations and sudden urge to
paint my imagination between the lines
and in rhymes..
it's all a reflection
of what takes place in my mind..

"Waves within"
roll through again and again
directionless, drifting
coming to be so freely
with no hesitancy,
reminding me this is no
perpetual place of residency..

"Waves within"
I'm washed in
and drown 'neath repeatedly..
I'm exceedingly depleted,
any energy expected to explode
is now projected weakly
and continues to only corrode..

Modes of existence shift seamlessly
emotions and moods so inconsistent mix
and I'm left adrift in the midst of this
indifference..
Only thing left to do is live and love
in my predicaments.

"Waves within"
turn to tsunamis,
I burn in the aftermath
and make my way down this
make believe master path I've crafted..

The waves will forever crash,
the sensations and emotions
will continue to clash and pass me by,
 eternally set to be awry, I am,
silently soaring in my mind
 high as the sky,
flying by fast as time..
wavering in the wind,
savoring this space
I've been sent to embrace and
never waste
though I have and will and do still..
