Scratching My Head

Social distancing
Pandemic
COVID-19
People are dying
For every body seen
Tucked in a body bag
Cannot be blamed
For this virus on hand
Individuals still killing
Police officers pulling triggers
And the youth
Think they are untouchable
To the coronavirus
Unemployment
At a record high
And a limit of two to three packs of meat
When I go to the store
And the world is split
It seems
Those whom wear masks
And those
Well.....
Who don't give a damn
In which I'm guilty
Of both
Sometimes I wear
And most times
I don't
And the warmer it gets
Those stay-at-home orders
Will no longer be in effect
Nowadays
Life is a crapshoot
Roll the dice
And never get it
Or test positive
And be self quarantine to a room
Out of work
And a twelve hundred dollar stimulus check
Was gone
Before it was ever recieved
Stress, frustration
What else can happen next
Oops I forgot
The Killer Wasp
Has made its flight into the U.S.
Although we Americans
Has already been stung
And gas prices
Back on the rise
And kids out of school
And babysitting
Is the thing of the past
Forcing many
To leaving their kids at home
Eight year olds
Are becoming the new mature teens
And the government still insisting
The worst hasn't happened yet
And if that's the case
Who will be mentally prepared for that
Because of right now
I don't know
If I'm living on my own
Or on a movie shoot
Starring in a Scifi movie
That the government is producing
Hoping to win the Academy Award
