i found myself falling
dreaming of time passed by
on my belly crawling
swear on this cross i’ll die
blanketed by rebel speak
trying to connect the dots
i’d rather be another freak
than a victim of thoughts

burning out my eyes
dissecting this propaganda
world is lusting alibis
this must be the new standard

what motivates this desire
crumbling beneath weight
feeding a never-ending fire
outdated and obsolete
sacrificing all that i know
for a one way street
children no longer grow

curious is the old guard
they’re not always right
broken glass impaling shard
always empty without a fight
picking up these lost pieces
not everyone gets the prize
futuristic the multiple diseases
cutting us all down to size

evil is the bandwidth hurt
that can’t truly win
you just shovel the dirt
that pinches my naked skin
what kinda friend injects
flames into heavy gasoline
and he never protects
those in moments so lean
