Waiting For A Miracle
Is it okay to be waiting for a miracle
When I don't believe in that God presence
Which is supposed to supply it for me?
I've been waiting a long time without any sign of it
So maybe you've got to be a believer
Before you see that kind of luck
Maybe I'll stop calling it a miracle
And just call it a good break
My turn for the coin to drop heads up.
I feel like that would be a miracle though
Since it never happens for me
So what's in a name?

A great question. Beautiful expiration. And a perfect ending line, nicely done. Sometimes miracles come disguised, we are so distracted we miss them, we aren’t quite ready for them, and sometimes, sometimes, they just take a little time....or so says the fairy godmother, but what what does she know?
