Forces inside you
Are in constant tug-of-war
Angels and demons
Trying to win you over
Beware listen carefully
To their hush voices
Whispering inside your head
They are competing
For your time and attention
Waiting for you to feed them
Know how to listen
Learn to distinguish the voice
Of good and evil
That whispers in your silence
Stay with the forces of light

Awesome write. Each stanza has this sense of forte then piano sound for me. Crashing waves of negative voices and then the calming ebb of positive voices that are love driven and win over the dark ones. Beautifully written. H🌷
