Red Dead Bubble Bath

Lightly rocking, gently floating
Hair a tangle, body bloating
Fingertips like crinkle cut
Life expired, given up

Water blushing, drain slushing
Floor flooded, veins gushing
Skin slouching from frame
Lights out for what's her name

No more laughs, no more paths
No more bubbly scented baths
Eyes half open, no one home
No more songs, only foam

**I was in the bath when I wrote this, the water was doing that thing where it sort of tickles at the water line of my skin. I almost fell asleep then I thought about people who kill themselves in the bath. I'm not suicidal, it's normal to think about your own mortality. Thanks to everyone who reached out. I'll make sure to put more author's notes on these sorts of writes.
