Disrupted Tranquility

I watch as the breath escapes from my lungs and fogs up the window that I have been staring out for hours.

I am calm.

I sit silently as I watch the fog fade almost completely disappearing before I let out another breath.

I am calm.

For a moment I felt much like the ocean on a windless day soothing and relaxed.

I am calm.

Suddenly like a storm quickly hides the sun away;
The calming feeling was only here for a short stay.

My mind drifts as the tranquility leaves my body and the peaceful fog is lifted.
