The Naked Truth

In truth I stand
God’s given of destiny from the rib of a man
I bow to no one
As the neck of the universe my melanin skin tone gifted under the sun
To the Seven Wonders of the World my heart, body, and soul I lend

In your darkest hour, the healing of my creed, through my hands, touching you, faith I shall always send
I stand before you, naked in my truth

My thighs, my breasts, God molded this woman from his hands, grown from a perfect root
My French Creole
The sweetest upbringing stirs in the core of my soul
I stand before the man, the creator’s original King
Intellectual, wise, knowledgeable his mental bling

Teach me all the things for this woman to understand in this lifetime
From the Bible, Torah, to the  Holy Quran
A gift unto me whereas, my soul will come to know
Together our hearts, minds, shall reap what we divinely sow

In my naked truth
