as rose-colored vignettes sparkle
from my eyes
projecting themselves
line by line
upon printed page......
….in awesome wonder
little brown-eyed girl
having stumbled into your “wild world”
watching you grow from a child
into a woman divine
“she faced the hardest times
you could imagine.....”
….....if I could just
restore this moment in time
to help you start all over again
“....you make me feel so young the way we laugh and play
like a child in the sun
you know I wanna stay
in love this way
how do i feel when i feel like praying, feel like saying
It's feels so good so right to be with you tonight”
showing you my gratitude
acknowledging my
belief in you
to “heal your womb”
to be your truth
before my days are done
to fill that space
in your dark and lonely times
could I be the one to
satisfy your spiritual, emotional
and physical mind?
those that you put aside
and give to others.

brother, mother
I wanna' be your man
Can I see you
naked
and unencumbered
to worship the beauty
of your imperfections
to behold the beauty
of your brown skin
to partake in the power
of your melanin
seeing the love in your heart
the laughter in your smile
the power of your “black girl magic”
….to wrap you up in my arms
and feel everything that you are
because

you give me the love, love that I've never had”
so much more than
I ever expected.....

This is sort of an experiment in perceptions ( sensual, lusty nuances and all) comparing my perceptions of carnal and emotional, heartfelt love. Are there real differences or are they part of the same thread? There is another poem that believe or not came from deep within the heart of this spill. Hope you will read both. The second will be easy to find......😇 😈
