quickness doesn't refrain one from the intimacy

pulled out of mind
feelings linger with the air
wrapped around a beatnik pulse
noted then detained
standing lonely in the rain
as smokey eyes gets washed away

but brief, I must be
as fairy dust fantasies
are knocking upon the door

stillness retains her stride, hit pause
and release for tomorrow we re-hearse
running it again, until on empty
coasting
from the top
to the bottom

one last thought before the levee breaks
I'll be damned
if we'll not be swimming
naked in each other's bane
stealing breaths
and seducing death
