Lately I've been soaking up the perfection of a warm day spent on the front porch with my daughter...with her damn cat howling in the window because he can't be in her lap. The simple things are the most amazing pleasures

Puss not allowed on the porch, eh? I find myself knee deep in as yet untried recipes,
and cooking programs are so soothing...
