Rhyme Free Zone

I’m trying to write a poem
That doesn’t have a rhyme
I find it really challenging
Am I just wasting .. energy

It doesn’t sit quite comfortably
I’m always rhyming verse
Napow to the death, my comfort.
Call the morgue, send a.. body bag

The rebellion in my mind
Just to complete this simple task
Is driving me quite bonkers
And is a real pain in my.. butt

 I persevere, it’s .. obvious
defeat not in my nature
And though I twitch, I .. sow
These lines of, poetry? Together
