Why do you think the ancient poets thrived
and wrote what charmed their queens and common men?
Culture rose up and with joy kissed the stars;
the happy ones would kiss all who's around.
Why did small ships ride waves and sail so far
across the oceans and the deepest seas?
Was it because they loved their fair queens
or they were in despair and yearned to die?
Where are the poets now whom we call great?
Is it because the queens are getting plain?
Or is it because life has lost its brain
since faith was displaced by the godless sex.

by crafting all they wrote
to please their country's courtly dames
and bothered not to focus on
(so frequently and long before the present age)
the joys of lust, carnality, and sex
with which the goddess Aphrodite and
the beastly Eros gifted men
Oh how Catullus and sweet Sappho too,
the poets Pindar, Ovid, Martial, and
all those whose writings now appear within
the fifth book of the Greek anthology
are so, in seeing what you wrote,
hard spinning in their graves
and laughing at your note
that life can lose a brain.

a person's life

You cannot find them nowadays
when sex is free and cheap.

If you are saying that sex was not available or engaged in in Shakespear's time, then you know little about how prominent brothels were then.
And many Germans's felt that Hitler's programs were great causes, just as many Europeans thought the Crusades were as well.
I also wonder how much Martial, Sappho, Catullus, and Ovid you've read.

Unfortunately, it is not clear that the reason ancient poets "thrived" is that culture kissed the stars, and that "happy ones (whoever they were) engaged in indiscriminate kissing, even if that claim made sense. Moreover, it was poets like Homer and Pindat and Hesiod who shaped and made possible the culture of their times.

Unfortunately, it is not clear that the reason ancient poets "thrived" is that culture kissed the stars, and that "happy ones (whoever they were) engaged in indiscriminate kissing, even if that claim made sense. Moreover, it was poets like Homer and Pindat and Hesiod who shaped and made possible the culture of their times.

1- My poem is very clear. It doesn't need any explanation.
2- lf you think you have improvised an iambic poem, you are wrong. You have made many rhythmic mistakes. You can learn how to improvise a rhythmic poem from my improvised poem.

Your piece is not consistently Iambic. Consider these lines:

So if you think that one can learn any thing about prosody from your piece, you are wrong. And the issue of what one doesn't learn from the way you write is broader than what sound meter looks like; it's how one is to use effective and evocative and syntactically correct language and concrete appeals to the senses in order to make a reader see with his/her eyes shut and how to avoid mispunctuation of lines, forced rhyme, inversions, the omission of necessary articles, grammar gaffes, and being sanctimonious, paternalistic, and patronizing or presenting oneself as possessing knowledge one doesn't have on how the world works and what goes into making good poetry.
But the more important matter is whether your lines make sense. They don't, however much you think they do.
