Brazen Penny Stealing (NaPo #23/30)
Why is it "a penny for your thoughts", when you need to "put you two cents in"? Someone's making a penny.
One of the lowliest off all coins,
Filling of the purse, the deep coigns.
Found on the floor, and in the street,
Copper in color, they really are neat,
Epically when taking one every now and then,
Makes it not noticeable when
People go back to look at their money,
It's amazingly crazy!
Makes your mind hazy,
How they add up so fast,
Even when they are not taken so fast.
And no one will notice one cent missing,
When the person has gone missing.
