Animal Swamp
It was some generations later
When a weasel obsessed with gold
Connived his way up to the top
And did away with traditions of old
He convinced the other pigs
That he was just like one of them
But in fact he wished to be a fat cat
Always seeking riches to no end
And the sheep simply followed him
While some birds didn’t like his tune
Even the donkey said “what a jackass”
While the horses called him a baboon
But the weasel was fixated with bulls
“Let ‘em run through the market” he’d say
Then preach to the rams and lambs
“We need to build a wall” every day
And when the wise old owls had enough
They went to him for some answers
“What about the windmills” some asked
“Tear them down” he said “they cause cancer”
“Build the wall” his sheep chant and scream
While the wolves on the street scheme
As the weasel displays nepotism
Feeding fat cats just like they dreamed
All the animals in the farm work hard
Except for the pussies and scheming hogs
“Let’s keep them uneducated” they plot
As the dirty work is done by their dogs
And the weasel is still so obsessed
With building walls and letting bulls run
He’s like the other swine very perverse
He thinks he’s smart but is really dumb
“Build it higher” he screams like on fire
But the liar is laughed at by many factions
He waves his tiny paws berating anyone
Who questions his motives and actions
The weasel’s scared of something bigger
Something he or anyone can't see
Perhaps its the bears about to run
And bring the market down to its knees
The old farm has turned into a swamp
Filled with rats and venomous snakes
Drunk with power he wants more power
But the weasel keeps making big mistakes
So as the pigs and the fat cats assemble
Knowing that things are about to change
The weasel tries and lies from the podium
As a storm approaches from the range
