Wickselm House

Wickselm
Just out of town
Thats where we found
Our garden of dreams
Then another one made three
Years past snowdrops everlast
Daffodils, apple trees and bees
June's sweetness
Roses and lots of other flowers
And the oaks
Burnt in late autumn
Some say it was haunted
Old stone walls and ivy
Post and rail
Winds that wail
In winter
horses circling in hail
Or clipping to a trot
Wickselm in the frost
Island borders and tree rings
Magnolias budding in spring
The joy when the bluebells sing
Another summer the swallows take wing!
Diving out of old barns
Amongst climbing roses
the garden surrounded by farms
Drifting wheat or raw ploughed ground
Walks down to the wetlands holding your arm The old railway bridge
Dogs running down
Our girl skipping round
Stars at night
Dark winters twilight
Setting over Wickselm
Steadfast and bright
In last hours sunlight
Honey colored stone
Georgian front
Marble floors
old wooden carved doors
O Wickselm
You will be found
loved again
remembered again
