Don't live in your own prison
Like a caged bird
That cannot fly
Your mind is limitless
Your thoughts have no bars
They are free to wander and soar
In the sky of your imagination
Dream the life you dream
Believe in its possibility
Have faith in yourself
Nothing should chain you
And stop you from flying
You are free to live the life you want
Dare to soar beyond your limit
Look beyond your field of vision
And see different skies
Vaster than the sky you know
Your thoughts are wings
That can take you to places
In your imaginings
From the vantage point
Of your inward eyes
Be free
Take that leap
Into unknown territory
Discover your potential
Break the walls and barriers
That stop and hinders your becoming
You are unique
Able to do anything beyond the ordinary
Your mind is a wheel
That can take you anywhere
You want to be

#NaPoWriMo2020
This poem was written at random when I submitted it to the NaPoWriMo comp. I have written a different poem for submission that night but my connection was not good and I lost that poem since I usually write directly on my phone. I just go with the flow of my thoughts while being conscious of the few minutes left before midnight. I have edited it for posting here.
And going through it I remember the novel "Jonathan Livingston Seagull"by Richard Bach which I let my son read the other night and one of my favorite inspiring stories. I guess that must have influenced this writing.
