Another Hard Dawn’s Rise

(pantoum)

Another hard dawn’s rise conflates
Surrounded by pictures of you.
I brace for what must soon dictate,
To infiltrate my thoughts’ construe.

Surrounded by pictures of you,
I linger in that sweet desire
To infiltrate my thoughts construe
And soon begin my true conspire.

I linger in that sweet desire,
The reaching grasp to situate
And soon begin my true conspire
That shows in morning’s happy state.

The reaching grasp to situate
The function of your pictures’ sight
That shows in morning’s happy state,
That lingers after sultry night.

The function of your picture’s sight,
The action that your sight demands,
That lingers after sultry night,
And takes to matters well in hand.

The action that your sight demands,
Another hard dawn’s rise conflates,
And takes to matters well in hand,
I brace for what must soon dictate.
