Feeling alone
Feeling alone,
Even though I have 66 contacts in my phone.
I send a messege and you don't reply,
I know it shouldn't but it makes me want to cry.
I wish my grnandma were here she would talk for hours,
Make me smile as if she had super powers.
Even if it was just for a moment she always brought me peace,
She was always able to put my negative thoughts at ease.

I'm so sorry, girl. As I lay in bed this morning I thought about how you've checked on me for several mornings, leaving me something beautiful to wake up to. I wanted to do that for you this morning, but once again you beat me to it.
I send a message to my children, and nothing comes back for hours or days. I feel... lost, sad, like maybe I'm being a burden. I KNOW that's not true. I KNOW they love me. I KNOW they are OK. It's those darn old recorded mental messages that hard to shake...it hurts they couldn't take 1 minute to type a return message.
I will always return a message ASAP. Please know you're in my heart & prayers.
