All About You! (Never About Me)

took me in like a lost puppy
said that you'd always love me
crossed your heart and hoped to die
swore to me a thousand times
you would tell the truth the whole truth
I was so desperate to believe
guess I would of believed just about anything

I've always been a problem child
even when the world changed I stayed the same
but none of that mattered with you
only one thing was on your mind
and you smiled everytime I did it for you
made me happy to make you happy
when I didn't feel up to it
you made sure I wasn't happy
oh no, that ain't love

but love wasn't what you were offering
was it?
sure make it clear now
it was all business with you
too bad you made it seem like something else
and I really thought you cared
but when it came to my needs
I was left with nothing but excuses
so execute me

no, you wouldn't
I'm still good for something in your eyes
trying to use me till I'm sucked dry
nope, not gonna let you
even if it's so hard, too hard
because I'm connected to your care
even if it was a lie
if it's all business
than watch me do what I do best
make you need it so bad
crave it with every bit of your being
till I break you, like I'm broken
