All that remains (revised)

Stunned and stoned
 in this moment
my soul is soothed
I'm keeping my cool
not to lose control
nor to contain
all that remains
is awareness of and
appreciation for all
so I shall not fall further into
complete chaos carelessly,
I shall not continue to feel alone
and lost..
A battle must always be fought
sometimes not for naught
as peace and passion cannot be bought
it's only within but you can't see
without first letting go
of foolish fears and pointless pity.
