Mind battle

Who am I
Strange question one might ask,
How insane can one be to ask a question like that about ones self.
It's the strange questions of life that makes you wonder about belonging.
At a young stage in life they teach you to sing
I am a promise, a promise to be
I am a promise  with a capital P
I am a great big bundle of potentiality
But What happens when you feel like you are not one of those positive P's
And you start singing I am a problem.
Looking in the mirror at yourself you see a prisoner, imprisoned by oneself.
Your mates excelling and you feel stuck
Like a seed that gets watered yet refuses to grow.
They see you, they think your all good not knowing you would switch lives with them if only you could try to tell them your struggle, they can't see what you see, so you question yourself
How does one regained what cant be regained, Is there a time machine to take you back to make a change
Destiny cant be this, it can never be
Everyone has left those who promised never to go every thing as changed yet still you cant grow.
I lost so much theres nothing else to be lost but of all I lost, I missed my mind the most.
