Rough Seas
Finding my center
The place of calm
in this storm
Navigating my ship
A roof over my head
and provisions galore
My spirit rises
and my inner voice
guides me through
I have always been a good navigator
when seas get rough
I am grateful
The place of calm
in this storm
Navigating my ship
A roof over my head
and provisions galore
My spirit rises
and my inner voice
guides me through
I have always been a good navigator
when seas get rough
I am grateful

Glad you have a 'modality' to find calm amidst all the turbulence. I get my hands in the soil but currently need something more; thinking of planting a 'tiny forest' on a forgotten little corner of the quinta. Having a project is always good 'medicine'.

You say it Josh. Staying busy keeps the mind from wondering in the wrong direction. Thanks for stopping by.

Well you keep on navigating
And I'll try and find my own calm and mimic your example

This is beautiful and uplifting. I have a poem for you that I haven't published yet which I'd like to share with you. Speaking of calm during the storm:
Look,
I’m not trying to be a world class poet
I’m not Shakespeare or a Poe, and I know it
I’m just trying to express myself
To address myself, and these problems I have.
So, sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride
Step right up and look inside my troubled mind
If you seek, perhaps you will find
Through this window of words
A little nook or cranny
In my cracked and broken heart
That bears a vague semblance
Of a place you’ve been before
A place to rest your head
To take shelter from the storm.
