Superman

I heard a voice say give it up
they'll never accept you for who you are
but something in my eyes is clear
I worked harder than anyone else
and I refuse to give in
it won't be for nothing
I'll tell you like this
I'll say it again and again
till your ears bleed out my name
no one can do what I can do
the jealousy is ridiculous
when I'm trying to hold others up
they use their powers to hold me down
fuck it
I'll do it
yeah, I'll do it myself

if only me alone
fight through the worst of the worst
and breakthrough every barrier
when others fail, I say

sit back and watch
I can't simply do that
