Waiting

rising above where I am lying
rising above the Earth
over the clouds where birds are flying
feeling like a new birth

the unseen sphere of plasma glowing
around both Earth and me
brushes by while I am flowing in
interplanetary

waves of light and electric currents
electromagnetically
powering all while moving in torrents
almost invisibly...

Saturn in mind I arrive in an instant
Titan just crossing its plane
when you are here we'll both share the intent
to move far beyond once again

to Sirius C onto Xylanthia
to live by a very warm sea
do you recall there's nothing much fancier
