An acrostic poem (Differences)
Distracted mind searches for purpose
Isolating each flaw shown on the surface
Fixated on what the body is missing
Frowning at the blessing God has given
Evaluating worth based on appearance
Reminded of each day staring at a mirror
Enslaved to comparing looks with others
Noticing the attention she isn't receiving
Crying out for eyes to behold her pretty
Entirely unaware her beauty is different
Scars on a frame never ruins the picture
