THE STABLE LIFE
THE STABLE LIFE
I am surprised that people do not see
the world is like a man who hides behind
his back a card that asks you soon to leave
your job and stay with nothing in your hand.
You accept that as it is better than
when your phone rings and tells you that a kin
will go abroad and stay so far from you
while this dear person brightens your dull view.
You sit and think what kind of life this is.
The other day a good friend passed away.
Is this the life from which you expect joy?
You fear what you do not expect to know.
Where is the life that tells you none will change
and moves from depth to depth and all will please.
It can be found just in what Jesus says
about His world where endless love exists.

Another of your rather dull "I know more about the way the world works" than everybody else submissions.
In any case, how does what Jesus says about his world pay the rent and put bread upon the table when you are asked to leave (and stay empty-handed) ?) at your job? And how is what you write here a depiction of the stable life -- as your title suggests it will be?

I wonder why it is the case
when I’ve some questions raised
on lines whose meaning’s slim,
they’re answered not
with measured thought
but dull ad hominems.

Since it is hardly clear what Jesus says about His world (where endless love exists), let alone that Jesus said anything about a place where endless love exists), just how what Jesus says will help anyone who has been fired from his job and has no means to pay rent or buy food is NOT clear.
Not is it clear how your text depicts the stable life, let alone what you consider it to be.

is for a long time
going away,
let alone
that Jesus, lord,
from all depression
and from poverty
will pull you through?
Has he promised you
psychiatry
and a paycheck too,
protection sure
from fears
you don’t experience
or know
and the harrows
of a world that blows?

Can you [write ...] a gentled exploration of
the subtitles of love
with cunning vibrant words,
not heavy-handed ones,
as is your wont,
that show, not tell,
through simile and metaphor
and language that is sparkling, fresh,
just what the joys of being flesh is like,
and how there’s liberation true and good
inside a woman’s kiss
or what the feeling is of being wrapped,
enveloped in,
the raptured bliss inside her arms?
Given what you continue to post and how you write, I guess the answer's no.
Please prove me wrong. Leave off theses ponderous disquisitions on what's wrong with the world and how Jesus is the answer to despair, and show us that you have the skill to write in ways that are memorable and sigh-making about the joys of being in love with another human being.
